That’s why we are offering a family Christmas special throughout December 2019 and January 2020 so that you can spend time together creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Do you still want to experience Christmas festivities during your stay? Not a problem. North Sulawesi is predominantly Christian and the locals take Christmas very seriously. You won’t miss out on decorations or Christmas trees and for those staying over the 25th, there will be a special dinner as well as our annual Christmas party.

Not Just Scuba Diving: Not all of your family need to be divers to experience an incredible vacation in North Sulawesi. Diving is just a small part of what is on offer. For those who enjoy being in the water, we have dedicated Snorkeling Guides and the snorkeling sites are truly world-class with an abundance of marine life and pristine shallow reefs. For nature lovers, the Tangkoko Nature Reserve is a wonderful family day trip where you’ll see rare wildlife in its natural environment – including Sulawesi black macaques, cuscus bears, butterflies, birds, lizards and of course, kids will love the tarsier monkeys – the world’s smallest primate!

Take a tour of the North Sulawesi Highlands and watch the Christmas activities unfolding in the local villages. The traditional market in Tomohon is a hive of activity at this time of year and for those who want a more laidback tour, discover the serene villages around Lake Tondano and the incredible views from the crater rim of Mahawu volcano.

Our family special is so much more than a child policy. Children don’t stop being children at 13 and that’s why we define children as those that are in full-time education. Is your 19 year-old studying at college? Then they count too!

As parents, you will both pay full board rate, but here’s the special offer – if your kids stay in the same room as you, they’ll be charged at 50% discount for accommodation, diving, tours and activities.

Offer applies to all children (students) who are attending school or full-time education.

Up to 2 students may share your room with you.

For children 12 years and under, normal child policy applies.

Offer applies to stays at Murex Bangka, Murex Manado and combination stays including both resorts.
